Rome, 20 January 2023 – The meeting was held in the presence of the EPPO Deputy Prosecutor Dr. Danilo Ceccarelli, at the headquarters of the Customs and Monopolies Agency, located in Piazza Mastai, n. 12, Rome, a meeting between the ADM and the European Public Prosecutor’s Office.
During the meeting, technical topics were addressed, such as the application of administrative sanctions in cases in which the European Public Prosecutor’s Office has opened a criminal proceeding and the management of the sums seized in the context of criminal proceedings still pending before the European Public Prosecutor’s Office.
At the end of the meeting, ADM and the European Prosecutors expressed their warm satisfaction with the continuation of the collaboration that began on 24 February 2022 with the signing of an ADM-EPPO memorandum of understanding.
